How it works

Ultrasonic flowmeter uses the characteristics of ultrasonic wave propagation in fluid to measure flow.First, an ultrasonic transmitter transmits an ultrasonic signal into the fluid.

When these signals propagate in the fluid, they will change in frequency or phase due to the flow of the fluid.The ultrasonic receiver then receives the ultrasonic signal after passing through the fluid.

Next, parameters such as the frequency difference or phase difference between the transmitted and received signals are measured.Then, according to the relevant mathematical model and algorithm, these parameters are converted into the flow rate information of the fluid.Then, combined with the cross-sectional area of the pipeline and other data, the flow of the fluid is calculated.
